Obituary for Diane Marie Medaglia (Hersant)
Diane Marie Medaglia, age 76, a resident of Webster, WI, passed away on January 9, 2022 in Siren, WI.
Diane was born on December 23, 1945 in St. Paul, MN to parents Ignatius and Marie (Mulvaney) Hersant.
Throughout Diane’s life she spent most of her time giving back to her community. She volunteered at hospice facilities, worked for the education foundation and also the backpack program helping many families. She also volunteered at the voting polls during elections in Meenon Township. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and served on the Catholic Charities Board of Directors for 8 years.
Diane was a master gardener winning many awards for her outstanding green thumb and planting skills.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; daughter, Tanya; parents, Ignatius and Marie; brothers, Terrance, Charles; sister, Patricia.
Diane is survived by her son, Chris; and granddaughter, Lisa; sister in law, Alice; along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM (visitation 12:00 – 1:00 PM) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, WI with Father Francis Adoboli officiating. Interment will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Webster, WI following the service.
