Obituary for John L Neinstadt

John L. Neinstadt, loving husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, age 81, passed away suddenly on January 30th, 2022 in Panama City, FL.

John was a resident of Webster, WI. He was born in Grantsburg, WI on October 17, 1940 to Bernard and Johanna (Kaminski) Neinstadt. He attended Webster High School and graduated in 1958. He was united in marriage to Maureen “Reeny” Coveau on August 19, 1962. Two daughters were born from that union, Sandra Johnson in Cadott, WI and Natalie Neinstadt in Weirsdale, FL.

John was very much a family man and would do anything to help someone. He was an avid western-themed book reader. He loved to travel with his wife and family, garden, hunt with his grandkids, and fish.

Since he was 18 years old, he was actively involved with Operating Engineers Local 139 out of Pewaukee, WI. His life work involved pipeline construction.

John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bernadine (Neinstadt) Olson, brother-in-law, Ken Olson, brother, Joseph; mother and father-in-law, Margaret (Holler) and Jim Coveau; brother-in-law, Clint Coveau; and nephew, Curt Olson.

He will forever be missed by his wife, Maureen Neinstadt; daughters, Sandra (Lamar) Johnson and Natalie Neinstadt; grandchildren, Blake (Alexandria) Johnson, Jared (Laura) Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Brittany Johnson, Brianna Bray, and Brendon Bray; great-grandson, Asher Johnson; nephew, Lance Olson; great-nephew Tyrel Olson; his cats, Peppi and Tom; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Fornengo) Coveau, Linda (Coveau) Olson, and Sharon (Coveau) Proffit; brother-in-law, Ron Proffit; along with several close nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with lunch following the celebration at the Community Center in Webster, WI
