Obituary for Kenneth Albert Chenal

Kenneth Albert Chenal, age 66, a resident of Frederic, WI passed away at home on March 24, 2023 with his loved ones by his side after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Kenneth was born on September 3, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Maurice and Patricia (Beaudry) Chenal.

After graduating from Centennial High School in Circle Pines, MN, he hitchhiked around Europe before going to college at St. Cloud State, where he played Football. He moved to Indian Creek where he was blessed with 3 sons. He was a self-employed Drywall contractor that serviced Northwest Wisconsin.

Kenneth married the love of his life, Bonnie on July 11, 2007. After marrying Bonnie, they settled down in Lewis, where they shared their passion of gardening, which brought joy and comfort to them both. He is known for his jester-like character that could make anyone laugh and smile. For many years, he was an active bingo caller at the local VFW where he curated a fan base. He was always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone that was in need. His humor, compassion, and generosity will be missed by everyone. He was truly a good fellow.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Bonnie; children, Bradley (Christen), Brandon, and Chad Chenal; stepchildren, Benjamin, Caitlin, Zachary and Charlie Anderson; grandchildren, Alydia, Giovanni, Vincenzo, Neaveh, Naomi, Chad Jr, Parker, Tristan, Payton, Kylie, Rosie, Lily, Ben Jr, George, Philip, Elle, Joseph, and Carter; along with other relatives and many friends.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
