Obituary for Roy L McPheeters
Roy L. McPheeters, age 81, a resident of Siren took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones and 8 cats on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his home.
Roy was born on June 28, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Virgil (Dud) and Bessie McPheeters.
Roy married Sandra (Dale) in 1968 and 2 daughters were born, LeeAnn and Robyn.
Roy worked at Hitchcock Industries in Bloomington, Minnesota for 43 years. In 2009 he retired and moved to his weekend home in Siren. It is there that he loved watching the wildlife from the kitchen table and deer hunting his property until the very end.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra; daughter, LeeAnn Mason; sister, Betty Lou (Chester)Zuech; brother, Bruce (Joyce) McPheeters and brother in law, Ralph Zuech.
Roy will be sadly missed by his daughter, Robyn McPheeters; son in law, Ed Mason; three grandsons, Andrew (Billie Jo) McPheeters, Nicholas McPheeters, and Anthony Mason; two great grandchildren, Samantha Jean and Thomas Lee McPheeters; his sister, Marlette Zuech; nephews, Gene (Heather) McPheeters and Jesse McPheeters; along with other relatives and friends.
Per Roy’s wishes, no services will be held.
