Obituary for Sebastian Lee Belisle
Sebastian L. Belisle “Gwiiwizensiwi Biizikan Maakakii Basikwebizon”, age 28, of Stanley, WI passed away on August 23, 2022.
Sebastian was born on September 30, 1993 in Shell Lake, WI to parents Alicia Doup and Robert Belisle.
Sebastian loved to play the guitar and producing his own music. He also enjoyed playing video games and exploring nature.
Sebastian is preceded in death by his sister, Jasmine Belisle; brother, Ethan Talek; grandparents, Robert Belisle Sr., Mildred Belisle, Delores Gouge’ and Raymond Doup; along with many uncles; aunts, cousins and friends.
He will be forever missed by his parents; sister, Saidee Belisle; along with many other relatives and friends.
Friends may call after 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Hertel Tribal Ceremonial Hall in Hertel. Services will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Ceremonial Hall (24844 Angeline Ave, Hertel, WI) with Skip Churchill as the spiritual leader. Interment will follow at Sand Lake Cemetery with pallbearers Kody Grey Gouge’, Gary Stoner, Wyatt Patrouille, Andrew C. Bearheart, Paul Blaul, Mitchell LaSarge, Blaze Hemmerbach and Gage Foltyn. Honorary pallbearers Justin Ingram, Noah Randall, George Schulz, Joseph Belisle, Seth Stoner and Mark Stoner.
